Techniques:

Three printing techniques are used: mokulito, woodcut, and waterless litho. Many
source documents are my own photographs. Maple plywood is used to print the first
color and then the first plate is reused for the second color. The second color is
transferred or drawn on the first plate and a woodcut is created. The third color is also a
transfer. The colors, blue, red, and yellow, used in different processes are transparent
so as to see through to the colors below and thus may make visual changes in the over
lapping colors. As for the use of the same reoccurring colors in the prints, this goes
along with the simplicity of using simple shapes to create complex designs.Embark on extraordinary adventures with our tailored travel experiences, designed for your enjoyment.
